In this healthy living and writing lesson plan, grade 5 to 8 students will explore clean modes of travel to and from school. Students will be introduced to methods of clean travel, pros and cons of these methods, and their benefits. Students will then take on the role of a news reporter to interview their peers and use their knowledge of active travel to write a news report.
