In this healthy living and visual arts lesson plan, grade 1 to 4 students will explore what student’s see along their trip to and from school. Students will be introduced to active school travel and work together to brainstorm the environmental benefits of active school travel. Students will then practice their drawing or painting skills by exploring concepts of their journey to and from school.
